Nearly $1 million in Give Where You Live Foundation grant funding has reached 23 local organisations across Geelong in June, supporting food security, homelessness assistance and inclusive employment programs.
Bisinella have been a long-standing Gold Partner with the Give Where You Live Foundation, it’s continued support has assisted in making these grants possible.
Since 2015, Bisinella has helped drive the Foundation's mission of supporting organisations working on the frontline of disadvantage across Greater Geelong.
Give Where You Live Foundation CEO Zac Lewis said the ongoing support from partners like Bisinella actively improves the lives of some of the region’s most vulnerable residents.
"This investment in our community would not be possible without the generosity of partners such as Bisinella," Mr Lewis said.
"Together, they're helping create opportunities for people who need them most and building a fairer future for everyone in our region."
Among the funding recipients is the newly launched Street Side Medics service, which received $30,000 to run a weekly mobile GP clinic for people experiencing homelessness in Geelong.
The funding will cover essential medical supplies and help break down barriers to care, ensuring people receive consistent, compassionate healthcare when they need it most.
"Creating lasting change requires more than short-term funding," Mr Lewis said.
"By backing trusted organisations over multiple years, we're helping build stronger partnerships and greater capacity to tackle the underlying causes of disadvantage, not just the symptoms."
Bisinella Developments Managing Director Richard Bisinella said supporting organisations that create lasting change aligns closely with the developer’s long-standing commitment to Geelong.
"We're proud to support the Give Where You Live Foundation and the important work it does across our community to make Geelong a better place," Mr Bisinella said.
"Strong communities are built through collaboration. By investing in organisations that are tackling complex social challenges, we can help create lasting opportunities and make a meaningful difference for people across Greater Geelong."
The Give Where You Live Foundation has also launched a new Innovation Fund this year, to support fresh solutions to complex social issues across the Geelong community.
"Community has been at the heart of everything we do at the Give Where You Live Foundation for over 70 years, and we're proud to partner with Bisinella to ensure our whole community thrives," Mr Lewis said.
"Bisinella demonstrates a deep and genuine commitment to building not just homes, but a stronger, fairer and more connected Geelong community."
